Applications for grants to support priority areas of the agro-industrial complex and the development of small forms of business are accepted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Policy of the RS(Y). Consultation and methodical support are provided by specialists of the service provision department of the Center for resource provision of the agro-industrial complex of the RS(Y).
Grants in the form of subsidies are provided on a competitive basis, documents are sent through the “Electronic budget” system. They are allocated for the development of the family farm and the material and technical base of agricultural consumer cooperatives.
As for the subsidy for the development of meat herd horse breeding, it is provided for the purchase of equipment or breeding young horses, but there are nuances: to purchase equipment, the applicant must have at least 50 horses (for residents of the Arctic regions – at least 25) , and in order to purchase a breeding youngster, it is necessary to have contracts of sale, rent (leasing) or subleasing of breeding young horses in breeding organizations.
