As part of the “Global News Forum” congress, a meeting of heads of member organizations took place in Bangkok, at which the chairman and deputy chairman of the news group of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) were elected.
The director of the TV channel “TRT Haber” became the chairman of the news group. Ahmet Gormez. Ahmet Gormez also constantly takes part in important events held in Turkmenistan. His election as Chair of the ABU News Group underlines the importance of leadership experience for the continued development of the organization.
