Solutions to the real problems of farmers, taking into account the budget balance

The measures announced by Kyriakos Mitsotakis from the floor of the Parliament, as well as those adopted to date in the context of supporting farmers, are aimed at solving their real problems, always taking into account the financial balance. Maximos Palace believes that the prime minister sent the right message with his speech, while opening the door for dialogue.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis clearly expressed his position regarding all the demands of social groups and productive classes. “No, this government will not be reviving the slogan ‘all pounds, all money,'” he said, adding that “I’m not just talking about slogans that include everything and everyone, leaving nobody, nothing and nobody standing out “.

He did not deny weakness and arrhythmia. He pointed them out first. At the same time, he noted the problems and rights of the protesting farmers. He has shown that he will not remain inactive, but will act in a way that does not disturb the fiscal balance, as he has done in recent years, faced with unprecedented international crises, typical examples of which are the pandemic and the energy crisis that turned into an inflationary one.

And the fact that he managed to preserve social cohesion by literally reorganizing the economy is a typical example. He also owes it to the citizens who, during the national elections, decided to give him the opportunity to continue his reform work.

The bottom line is, as emphasized in Maximos Palace, that every measure that is announced and implemented, every euro that is given, results from the resulting fiscal space. And it costs. The course of the economy allows to fulfill the obligations of the Prime Minister to return the surplus to the citizens and those social groups that need it most.

This will be done in case of farmers as already announced. Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ door remains open for dialogue and understanding. In any case, real problems are solved in the best possible way. With the most basic fact that the measures taken are not outbreaks. This suggests that most interventions are permanent in nature.

“We are being judged every moment,” said the prime minister, adding that “it is not the parties of the parliament that oppose us, but the problems and citizens themselves,” and emphasized that “we always want to be on top” of the circumstances.

We note that “we know and understand that our farmers and livestock breeders have many problems. Many, not all, many of their demands are demands that are justified. We’re not going to cheat them, we’re not going to cheat them, and I think that’s something that the primary sector world appreciates.”

And in conclusion: “we will always be at the forefront, in the context of economic opportunities, but also in the context of social justice – I must also emphasize this, because many social classes have problems in our country today – to ensure the right, fair and above all , quick solutions.”
