In Yakutsk, 860,000 square meters of housing will be built under the program of integrated territorial development

As part of the national address program implemented under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, initiated by the President of the country Vladimir Putin in 2019, by the end of 2025, 64 thousand square meters of emergency housing should be resettled in Yakutsk. Now six projects of complex development of territories with urban development potential of 860 thousand square meters of housing are being implemented in the capital of the republic.

According to the Minister of Construction of Yakutia, Viktor Romanov, during their implementation, resettlement and demolition of 189 emergency apartment buildings with an area of ​​over 101,000 square meters is planned. Complex development of the “Sportivy” microdistrict, the territory of the River Port (VK “Lensky Heights”), quarters 31 and 85, as well as the private sector in the Geriatricia area is currently underway.

Speaking at the board of the republican department, the minister called the “Sportyvi” microdistrict, which is being built on the territory of seven blocks of the capital at once – 2a, 2b, 2d, 4a, 4b, 4c, 17 – the main project of integrated development of territories. Its total area is 53.16 ha.

The project, which will be implemented in 2023-2033, provides for the resettlement of 160 old and dilapidated apartment buildings with a total area of ​​90,000 square meters. They intend to build 46 apartment buildings with an area of ​​327,000 square meters on the site of the old wooden houses. Approximately 13,500 people will live in the new apartment buildings.

As Viktar Romanov noted, now, in order to implement the first stage of development, the Republican Mortgage Agency is working on the resettlement of 6 apartment buildings for the construction of 2 new ones in quarter 2b. At the same time, 5 emergency shelters are being settled in the 17th quarter and the 2a quarter. By the end of 2025, a kindergarten with 240 places and a multifunctional sports hall will be built in their place.

According to the minister, the government, together with the Yakutsk mayor’s office, is considering the possibility of implementing four more KRT projects with an urban development potential of 319,000 square meters in the coming years. And in the future, for the early resettlement of citizens from emergency housing, it is planned to make decisions on several more projects on land plots with an area of ​​187.22 hectares with an urban developmet potential of 2,000,000 square meters.
